Dear Orchid Friends:
November signals a seasonal change: skies are darker, trees are barren, temperatures drop.
Your orchids will require adjustments in their care with this seasonal change. Here's a fun way to remember those important cultural tips and to help prepare for the forthcoming winter:

Newly emerging growths and spikes need proper support
Optimum light levels are needed as days becomer shorter
Vigilance is important in observing your plants for signs of disease and infestation
Eradicate insects quickly
Match watering schedules to changes in daylight hours and temperatures
Be certain to adjust fertilzation schedules when plants are not in active growth
Ensure protection of your orchids from the cold; check if heaters, coverings are in good condition
Refrain from changing your plants' orientation to light as flower spikes and buds form
Simple, easy reminders to keep your orchids in top shape!
